Have you ever wanted to make a movie?...

Because we do and…

you can be a part of making that dream a reality.

Time to explain…

We call ourselves Outside the box Cinema and we are dedicated to telling stories. We are a group of high school students from around Fort Worth, Texas. Some of us are aspiring filmmakers, or writers, or even artists. We are all very different, but we bond over our high expectations and general insanity. You can check out some of our work through YouTube at https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCncBJmAHxnn2vzYbeQs87kA or check out our website at http://outsidetheboxcinem.wixsite.com/wwwoutsidetheboxcine

The big Idea…

We have many projects going on but right now our main focus is on creating a film. This film is in its beginning stages as of now but we have high goals in mind for the final product. We will be entering it into 3 major film festivals from the end of 2016-2018. Getting a film prepared is an endeavor, but Outside The Box Cinema is not in the business of letting our goals go unaccomplished.

Why are we doing this?...

Our project goal is to broadcast our good message to the nation, win all three film fests, and be the youngest to do so. We hope to challenge our viewers to look past the face value of people, really let their guards down and allow themselves to see the world from a different perspective.

Let's be real…

This project is going to take time and money (lots of money). We have a long list of things we need starting with new equipment. Still, we prefer to think of ourselves as grounded optimists. We have plenty of dedication, but we need all the help (and people) we can get. If this sounds like you then get involved! Shoot us an email at outsidetheboxcinema@gmail.com or contact us through our Instagram page @outsidetheboxcinema. We would be thrilled to have you. If you can't join, but happen to find it in your heart to help us you can always donate. Maybe money can't buy happiness, but I can assure you that we would be so happy for your help.

Reasons you should join us

  1. This can be your collective creative brain-drip outlet

  2. Meet some pretty cool kids (like me, the author of this glorious mess you are currently reading)

  3. You can get involved with the community and learn life lessons like how to talk to people, stay on task, and many other things

  4. This will look good on college resume

  5. This might just keep you out of trouble…do film, not drugs.
